So... I am still very sad...

This is my dad's last orchid:

He was buried on September 21st in a small village close to Kronstadt.

I took this photo with my new Galaxy A25 and edited it on my Samsung tablet. I gave the A52 to my mum. The A25 cannot save raw photos. The camera is not so bad, although, if I look at the photos on the computer, they look much worse than on the tablet. They are indeed not very sharp. I mainly used the A25 as camera on this trip to Transylvania.

Before we took off to Romania, I made a hike to the Kaltenbachwildnis with Mr. H. I will not share any pics of the actual Kaltenbachwildnis here since they are pretty popular on Pixelfed, so they will eventually be uploaded to gallery.simon-a.info. Instead, a view of the Traunsee seen from the shore of the lake somewhere between Gmunden and the Kaltenbachwildnis.

The hike itself is very nice. I would classify it as easy to intermediate. I think I did not have to put the camera into my backpack at all, but it's not really very easy.

I also want to share a pic that I took I think two days before my dad's heart stopped to beat. I took it during a photo walk with my friends in Steinhof in Vienna. It's one of my favorite photos but it not the kind of photo that is very popular on social media.

And, last but not least, a photo taken in the Székely Land with the A25:

During this trip, I did not really have time to take photos. It was mainly about the burial and meeting relatives. But I am planning to return there eventually during the next year or so, maybe in June. In addition to taking landscape photos, I want to host workshops/talks about open source photography software in Szentgyörgy, Csíkszereda and Kronstadt, and maybe even Maros and Klausenburg, but I have not yet contacted the institutions that could provide a room and a screen. I am curious about the feedback/interest. I kind of have the feeling that there would be more interest in this subject than in Western Europe, I am not sure why.
