Unfortunately no hike this month, mostly because of the heat. But my friends and I continued our walk to expore the Viennese Durchhäuser. This month we visited the Melkerhof, and also photographed some staircases in the 8th district. Some of the staircase pics were quite successful on Pixelfed, although I only shot them with my smartphone, again. So I should share them in my gallery.

However, I upgraded my computer. I replaced the graphics card and power supply unit. I never did something like this before. I pushed the button and the thing powered on after the first attempt, I didn't have to change anything. That was such an adrenaline rush! I still have too little system RAM though, but so far I can't decide if it should be 32 or 64 GB. So afraid of the second upgrade though. And I am still afraid that I made some mistake, some cable will melt or something like that. I was lucky with the graphics card, I bought it without opening my PC first, and there was barely enough space for it.

I did this because lately I have been playing around with Stable Diffusion, Flux and such (if you are following me on Pixelfed, you know this).

Anyway, I think I won't fly to Gran Canaria or La Palma this year. I also want to get a new screen. Although... I so miss the ocean...
